In April, 2010, Youth of Malawi Inc. is sponsoring a trip to take 300 orphans to the beach in Salima, on the shores of Lake Malawi. We feel that the psycho-social development of these children is just as important as their nutrition and health. Everyone has a memory of some point in their life when they spent a day at the beach. We want these children to experience this, as well as give them lasting memories. We hope this will help promote a more positive outlook on life.

These orphans live about 2 hours driving distance from this beautiful lake, and have never seen it before. We are going to give them a day filled with games and fun on the shore, as well as nutritional meals for breakfast and lunch.
