KACHULE LIVESTOCK CENTER

Give a man a fish and he eats for a day, but teach a man to fish and he eats for a lifetime. Youth of Malawi certainly didn't invent the concept, but we brought it to life with Kachule Livestock Center.  Starting with a $100,000 investment in infrastructure, Youth of Malawi built a facility to house 90 cows, 3000 chickens and dozens of pigs.  In an innovative public private partnership between village stakeholders, expert livestock consultants and our charity, Kachule employs local labor, provides protein and fertilizer to the village population, and supplements income for hundreds of residents.
