THE HAPPY FAMILY MEDICAL CLINIC

Chimphamba village desperately needed a suitable space to care for the elderly, infirm, and child-bearing mothers in the surrounding communities. With a donation of over $150,000 in advanced medical equipment, a beautiful, solar-powered design was commissioned and the clinic is slated to open in 2017 with a birthing center, a first aid room, offices for traveling doctors and nurses, an ambulance bay, comfortable patient waiting area, and a patient data intake system.

With an agreement by the Malawian Government to provide staffing, this mini-hospital will be an essential part of rural health care in this underserved area and will put Chimphamba on the map as a center for healthy living, birthing and preventative medicine.
